As far as I know, Cane and able where not the only children Adam and Eve had. Also back then it was not uncommon for bothers and sister to marry.

Adam and Eve had more than two children. Yes, Cain and Abel married their sisters. Adam lived for 930 years all the while he produced sons and daughters as did his offspring. You can find all of this in Genesis Chapters 4 and 5.

Apparently she was a sister. Adam and Eve had more children than just Cain and Able. That was back when the human race was perfect.....no genetic problems. So it didn't matter. Only later did God say that no one should marry and have children with a close relative.

The Bible doesn't mention specifically the names of the children of Adam and Eve, although they had many. After all, Adam lived to be 930 years old. One could have many, many children in that time. If your concerned about incest, don't worry, this was the only method to populate the earth so God allowed it.

Adam and Eve represented the Most Ancient Church. The creation story has a very strong literal sense that protects the spiritual meaning. Read "Arcana Coelestia - volume 1" by Emanuel Swedenborg and the creation story is really about how the first church's affections were beguiled by love of self or what is man's own proprium (a Latin term for what is your own). The head of the serpent is love of self.

this may be incorrect, but the book was saying that Adam and Eve were the first humans. Never said anything about them being the only ones. so God could have made more, or, something. i really am not sure

The Adam and Eve are not mankind. Adam and Eve did not procreate until they were expelled from garden after mankind had already been created. Mankind was created on sixth day and THE ADAM was expelled from garden after seventh day. Adam did not start to die until he ate of tree of knowledge of good and evil which could have been billions of years later. Then THE ADAM procreated with mankind, tainting the whole world. God Bless

Obviously you didnt read much of the Bible. Adam and Eve also had daughters there names are mentioned, though. Ther reason Able and Cain are named is becase they were the oldest and the fact that Cain killed Able.
