Summer is the time to drink juices. Fresh juices are best. Either get a juicer if you don't own one or find a place that makes fresh juices. Carrot, celery, parsley, kale, spinach, and apple are some suggestions to mix together. Drink the juice throughout the day-whenever you are hungry. Have a bran cereal with rasberries and blueberries in the AM. 2 hrs later have the fresh vegetable juice. The more leafy greens that you eat, the less you will crave sweets. Take a multi-vitamin with the juice. The juice will fill your stomach so you won't be hungry. Walk 30 min. every day. Have 2 ozs. Salmon 3x a week. Spinach salad with lemon & ollive oil and add your favorite herbs, ie basil, dill. Vegetable broth at night, steam the vegies and add parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme(like the song)Also, get Bragg's Amino Acids at health food stores and add to flavor it. Important, be asleep by 10 PM. You will think better, feel better, and have more energy and you won't be tempted to eat at night. By the way, you whole life will change for the better. Also important, drink lots of water. Penta water is best, but expensive. Good Luck!

Are you in decent physical condition at this time? If not, you should consult a doctor. And be careful you are not seeking too low of a weight. You didn't mention what you weigh now, or your height.
Turn off your TV and move away from the computer at least one to three hours every day. Go for walks; maybe find some physical jobs you could do to earn a little money to join a health club. Focus on your strength. Try to develop the ability to walk longer, or do more pushups each time you work out. There are so many things you can do and they will come naturally once you start. Go to your local library and ask for assistance to locate good books on health. Good Luck! Have fun! It's great to be in shape... you feel so good!

You are lucky because at 14 you have growth hormones that make you metabolize faster, so losing weight and getting in shape is easier.
Nutrition is super important, so if you are going to "diet" at all, make sure you're taking a multi-vitamin. Lack of nutrition, sleep and water will all slow down weight loss, so don't block your progress by ignoring them. (Shoot for 8-10 hours a night and a gallon of water)
Cut out junk food, soda and REPLACE them with fresh veggies and fruits. Your metabolism will work better without being hungry.
Increase your daily exercise. You can rent exercise tapes/dvds at the library for free. Or just walk or jog for a half hour to an hour each day. Do it in the morning if you can... your metabolism stays higher all day when you do... so it's like bonus points.
Toning and firming for arms, tummy, and backside can be done every other day with a few basic exercises at home. You can find these exercises on line or in a book at the bookstore or library. Keep in mind that toning won't make you lose weight in a noticeable way... although you will definitely notice a difference in your clothes sizes!
Good luck... stay healthy!

If you have tried to lose the weight, but haven't been successful, I suggest finding a nutrionist that specializes with teenagers. A good nutritionist will understand the obsticals you face and the lifestyle you lead as a 14 year old. Together the two of you develop a program to reach your goals and help you maintain a life time of healthy habits. Besides - they cost that much!
If I could do it all over again - I would!

properly for starters in case you're eating any junk nutrition which includes chips, candies, tarts, cookies, ice cream etc. replace those issues with some thing wholesome like a fruit or veggie. also in case you're eating soda replace that with some thing wholesome like milk or water( you ought to even attempt flavored water in case you do not quite like eating merely straight forward water) and workout is the most. you ought to run a mile, or maybe jog or walk a mile.bypass to the gymnasium and workout consultation, such issues as that. in case you save this stuff in thoughts you'll have the rocking body you elect very right now in any respect

Water. Drink lots of water. It will help curb your appetite, and gives your body what it needs. And then eat smaller meals. Eat several times a day, but only small meals. Things that are healthy. But you won't get anywhere without exercise.

Work out aerobically about 20 minutes a day. Restrict fats, and carbs from your diet. And pray. Oh..and drink a lot of water too. Cold water burns more calories.
