I think Tallulah is a wonderful name!
It comes from the Choctaws which were a native American tribe that originated in the south east (Mississippi,Alabama and Louisiana)
The name means 'leaping water'

No this is just a great name,, surf up actress Tallulah Bankhead.
Another variation on the name is Talluah,, I like them both.

It is, but there was a movie star in the 1940s and 1950s, Tallulah Bankhead (perhaps the strangest name for a move star ever), who was quite popular.

As far as I know, it's not a common name. I always associate it with Tallulah Bankhead.

No, not when you compare it to the strange names that people create today. It is much better than the names that you can't pronounce because parents can't spell. Then there's one of the most popular "new" names out now, heaven spelled backward, Neveah. Most people ask when they hear it if it is evil since it is heaven backward. Ten years from now the grade school joke will be: What is the opposite of heaven? Neveah (following with tee hee hee hee hee) Those poor kids. Sorry, I digress......

It's a great name! First heard it in Bugsy Malone the film but I've heard it a couple of times since then. I think it's really nice!
