Belief in Ascended Masters was propagated first by Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, the founder of the theosophical movement. She worked primarily with Koot Hoomi and El Morya. These ideas were elaborated by the theosophists, who added to the ranks important religious figures like Jesus Christ, Buddha, Quan Yin, Saint Germain, and others.

The Church Universal and Triumphant, a small New Age sect centered in Montana, is the modern promulgator of this doctrine. It has entired wide acceptance in the New Age community, and is used as a way to explain the universality and common message of most religions.

I work with Ascended Masters. I don't belong to any group I don't believe in any one truth for every soul. I put a link to a site that has some info on different ascended masters. That list is not complete but it is a good start.

Yes I do believe in them, and the Prophets from different religions are some of them, like Jesus, Mohammad, and Buddha. That is also why no religion is wrong (including Wicca, Pagan, or New Age), religion is just a tool to help us and you can choose which ever tool you like.
