they still sell those?!
here's what I think. I used to buy those things all the time when I was a kid. do I smoke now? nope. I think cigarettes are disgusting. fake smoking on a candy cig was funny and we all thought we looked "cool", but it didn't make me want to smoke real cigs. any kid with a head on his/her shoulders ought to have the same attitude about this if they've spoken to their parents about the dangers of smoking.

Man, I haven' seen that stuff since I was a kid! Do they still sell them? I'm likely to just say yes to a ban on candy cigarettes. but not the cigars, like the first person who answered.. Simply because bubble gum cigars come in all different colors, and kids don't usually see adults smoking cigars. At least not in my neighorborhood. I guess cigarettes are more popular nowadays.

Why is this Communist Russia? Are you a Commie? There is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with candy cigarettes and bubble gum cigars. It's people like you that are taking away the rights of the rest of us. Why don't you move to Cuba?

No. My brothers and sisters and all my friends all had candy cigarettes and bubble gum cigars when we were kids growing up in the 1970s. None of us smoked then and none of us smoke today.

Ok here we go again...
You want to ban candy cigs and cigars..
I just want to know why the world has such a hatred for smoking.....I have yet to see anyone kill anyone in a car or any other situation from smoking to much cigs.
But the whole world is over looking the issue of Drinking and the effects of it...
So I say...HELL NO.....leave our childerns candy alone and look at the real issue's..

If kids smoke candy cigarettes, they'll be even more disgusted at the taste of real ones. Besides, how can one play mafia without those handy fake cigars?

Some of them are good. I would say that the whole cigarette idea is wrong and the candy should be marketed a different way.

I think it'd be a bit severe to ban them. My sister and I had them as children and had no interest in actually smoking. It's all about the people around you rather than the things.
