If it is just a bladder infection then not necessarily, but a kidney infection does need antibiotics. Also, drink plenty of water, and cranberry juice helps.

are you sure you have a kidney infection? if you are then yes! i had a kidney infection when i was 9 and my mom took me to the doctor and the gave me 4 meds. but if you are not sure that you have one, then go see your doctor first.

Yes, it does, but most Dr's will only give it to you when they are sure that you really need it.

Try drinking cranberry and/or water along side a kidney infection, and avoid orange juice.

yes but you willl also need to drink lots of water to help flush the infection out of the kidneys.

absolutely. a kidney infection can get VERY serious if left untreated. you (or whoever has one) should get on antibiotics very soon and get some Azo Standard too, for the urinary pain, if there is any.

yes because i had it some years ago and the pain and nausea was too much to bare...it can damage your kidneys if left untreated
