Nope. I love him dearly and I'm scared that I will somehow lose him, but I trust him entirely and am very supportive of him. I live in London and he's a student in Leeds so I can't keep tags on him anyhow! He lives with three girls and I'm perfectly happy with that because I know he would never ever cheat on me or betray me in any way. I guess possessiveness grows from insecurity, and whilst I'm insecure in everything else, I feel quite secure in our relationship.

Possessiveness is caused by love addiction/codependence. If you think you are suffering from these, you might want to read Pia Mellody's book "Facing Love Addiction" - it explains this destructive process very well.

Not at all. He is his own person I am mine, and although I love him he is not my possession, I am not his owner or keeper. Love needs the space to grow.

No, I am secure about his feelings for me. Possessive partners are insecure about themselves and have low self esteem.
