Yes! That's by Bolivar and stuff... My family lives there.
It's a great place, but make sure you go to a good landing...
Masters is nearby in Stockton too... If you don't like Pomme de Terre you should head up there.

That is a beautiful area and a nice lake. Hope you enoy the outdoors and have fun. I've never camped there, but the park is very nice. They even have showers.
PS They prefer to translate it more literally as "apple of the earth".

Don't know if you know this, but "pomme de terre" is French for "potato".
Somehow, Potato, Missouri doesn't sound like a very appealing place to go camping! Maybe if they changed their name to "Frites" (french fries) they'll have more campers!! lol

I was there in the 1950s on a family vacation and we stayed in a basic motel. Nice and laid back experience. We did boat rides, airplane rides, hiked, swam, and picnics. Fishing and boat skiing available...
