Sex is very personal and really needs to be kept within the boundaries of the marriage relationship. Because of the depth of what you are giving of yourself spiritually, emotionally, and physically when you join yourself with someone in a sexual relationship, I encourage you to think twice before treating something so important so casually. Sex before marriage should be well thought out- it's not the simple animal instinct that it is made out to be. Did you know that you are actually leaving a part of yourself with the other person? Sex was created to be the ultimate expression of love between a husband and wife. There is so much more and to explain it in such a short paragraph will really not do the subject justice, but I urge you not to give yourself away without a lifetime commitment.

It's NEVER necessary. Sex should only come after a commitment and if you're ready. Respect is the key. If there's no mutual respect (for feeling, emotions, etc.) then it's probably not the time.

If you have sex because you think it is necessary, then your relationship has problems. It should be because you have a emotional, physical, and mental attraction.

No, love is not about sex. It is about being together and loving each other emotionally and perhaps physically.

No! If he has been your friend for this long he can wait until you are ready! And not a minute sooner!
