I guess it is called ringing in the ears...although for a lack of a better discription I would call it pulsating waves?? OK it is ringing. I had a clean bill of health last time I went to the doc. but recently have noticed a "ringing" going on in my head/ears. It is most frequent in the morning before I get out of bed and seems to subside after I am up for awhile. What in the world is this about?

Could be several things. The two most likely are:

Chronic over-exposure to loud noise.
Water in the ears - sign of a bacterial infection.

Whatever the case, you should go see a doctor.

Good luck, and get well!

That is called tinnitis. So you need to find out why you are having tinnitis. Do you have OM (otis media)? Also when you have a hearing loss you can develop Tinnitis. So you should get a hearing test done by a professional.

I used to get that too. Apparently it happens when you are deficient in some kind nutrient. Either that, or really really tired.
