One of the best ways that I find is singing songs like "old McDonald had a farm", "This old man," etc. or reading a book. Or you can try playing a game with her by asking her where is your nose? where is your eyes? etc. Try that and see if that will work, I used to work in the day care center and find that 9 times out of ten it ususally works.

I have seen this problem first hand with a child. It was very easy to potty train her. She was tired of being in a dirty diaper also. Put pannies on her and explain that she is going to be a big girl now, put the potty in a easy to get to place, and stay at home for a couple of days. Everytime you go to the bathroom ask her if she needs to go. Ask sometimes when you do not have to go. In my opion pull ups is a waste of money I have never seen a child potty trained while wearing them. (I have 4 childern myself, and about 20 neices, and nephews, I have seen a lot of money wasted on them.)
And Remeber to be patiant and to not get upset. She is only 2 years old and this is new to her. Praise her when she does a good job!!!

take it with a relaxed mind; try to explain that potty should be in the toilet not in diaper. ask her to tell you everytime she feels the urge, further watch her carefully, if you see an expression of straining coming tell her to wait and take her to the pot immediately. Or if she is regular like in morning then give her a glass to warm milk and after a few minutes take her to the potty and ask her to strain. she will definitely respond. my daughter did.
my daughter is 2 too, and i used this technique. now she is more or less trained. it may take 1-3 months. be patient
ALL THE BEST

Try to make it a game where she will want to go. My daughter works in a daycare and they will put a few cherios in the toilet and tell them to pee on them. Let her know she is a big girl now and when she does use the potty, brag on her and make a big deal out of it. Hope this helps.

God bless and good look......ours is 3 and a half and still refuses....BUT, she thinks she is a princess.....that is kinda helping.....we tell her a princess wouldn't do that, they wouldn't walk around with that mess on their bottom.....but i think the best thing we have done yet is the last time she went number 2.....i mean the most awful, messy, stinky, nasty time.....i took a mirror and let her see what it looked like.....you should have seen that face she made...Stephen king would have been proud....we have still had a few accidents, but i think for the most part....it helped. and we put her in big girl panties to go outside and play.....she doesn't mess those up....they are too pretty. and she has NEVER messed her swim suit....? just depends on what she wants. no pun intended on the 'Depends'.

"Flood" her... meaning give her a TON to drink and then 10 minutes later sit her on her potty... give her some water to play in, the feel of water will help her go. Make a HUGE deal when she does it. Careful, however, not to reward with food.

if possible let her go free, she will start peeing every where but if you can catch her in time run her to bathroom and congratulate her on peeing in the potty, let her help you clean up mess, slowly intro. underwear,at first she'll assoc. it w/ diapers but then she'll realize it doesn't hold any thing and doesn't it feel gross when water runs down your leg, trust me she'll learn real quick, also make the toilet easy to reach, and don't make your toileting habits behind closed doors and don't forget to cong. yourself for her benefit.
