I personally don't believe that it is. I think it is about choices. Not about sin. People use sin to manipulate others into behaving as they want them to. I am sure so many different religions are going to say it is a sin. How do religions decide when to do away with something and when it can still be called a sin? Slavery was OK and now it is wrong. Who decided when to change the rule?Just follow your heart and you will feel what is right for you and what isn't,

The bible viewpoint:
1 Thessalonians 4:3 This is what God wills, the sanctifying of you, that you abstain from fornication.
Growing up in the hippie generation and sexual revolution, I have meditated on how to explain why God has this viewpoint.
First, God has laws of ownership, for example when you buy something at a store, then it is yours. Or when you make a vow, the bible says it is better to vow not, than vow and not pay, why should God have to wreck the work of your hands? Eccl. 5:4-7.
So, legally, (by God, the primary law giver), we do not qualify for sexual rights with another person unless we are vowed in marraige. To trespass this, is stealing, and shows greediness. True love would not do this, the desire of the flesh, lust, does this.
We are here to bring God glory. A spiritually clean marriage brings God glory, also resulting in children who may also do likewise.
The bible says fornicators and greedy person will not inherit the kingdom; Galatians 5:19. Fornication is also like a lie, doing something that is not true.
Obviously Satan and the demons promote fornication as they are against God and his standards. Demons are known to physically stimulate people sexually, to tempt them in sexual sins.
A Christian's body is for the will of God. He puts his Spirit in all who obey him, therefore one could not be practicing sin willfully, to keep God's favor. Hebrews 10:26, Acts 5:32.
Repentance is availble for this sin of course. God's Spirit gives us self control which can help us stay clean. Also prayer at the time of temptation can help.
Jesus told the adulteress, 'Neither do I condemn you. Go your way, from now on practice sin no more.'

In several instances in the bible god mentions that if a man touches a woman that he is not married to there will be punishment Proverbs 6:26-28 is one, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 says that you should "avoid Sexual immorality"
But then we jump all the way back to Genesis 2:23-24 and God says "This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh;... For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, they shall become one flesh."
Ultimately it is a personal choice but remeber that you need to decide dont let anyone else do that for you.

Well it depends, according to some religion like Islam and Cristian it is a sin, but I can not speak in General, maybe there is a religion who said it is not a sin. But outside the religion area, I really don't know what the answer is, only The Almighty could judge, humans could not. Just do what you believe, God will Judge.

I really can't make up my mind on this one, to me what counts is that you really like the person and aren't going to end up getting used, abused or with someone who you are'nt attracted to. If your'e not , I believe you need to respect your body and mind in that way as we are commanded in the Bible, by listening to it and not letting sex become less than it ideally should be.
But I'm not sure a marriage liscence is really necessary and could do some people more harm than good, it all depends on what you believe but for some people telling them that they have to wait until they get married before they can have sex could cause them all kinds of issues if it's not their true choice.

What thoughts are eternal? in accordance to Christianity, yeah, oops. Admittedly, Christianity is a patriarchal faith wherein women individuals are handed from male administration of a father to male administration of a husband, so something that could reason unknown paternity or a male to look after somebody else's little ones is against the motive of the equipment. comparable with the different Abrahamic religions. you will desire to discover a god who did no longer care in case you appeared around, although, i'm particular. Zeus actually did no longer seem to hardship himself with issues like marriage.

Absolutely. I kow it's tough. But if you are a Christian, you gotta believe what the book says. Besides, take it from someone who knows...there is a reason God tells us to abstain from certain things. He does it to prevent heartache, dissappointment, and disease. So if you truly believe in the Lord, don't be decieved...premarital sex is a sin. If you need some prayer or help in this area, email me and I'll tell you my testimony.

I Corinthians 7 talks about it is good for a man not to touch a woman--that word touch means sexual touching, and the context is unmarried. Also, the word fornication meant specifically unmarried sex...so yes, this would be a sin in the Bible.

YES, if properly translated the 10 Commandments say thou shalt not fornicate. My Bible of course says thou shalt not commit adultry, but my Bible has a dictionary at the back to explain that adultry is sex with anyone other then your spouse. So if you believe in the Ten Commandments and that they were handed down by God to Moses then you HAVE to believe that it is wrong in God's eyes.

The epitomy of personal views vs. Biblical teachings and God.
Fornication is forbidden. I don't care what view man has on the subject. If God says it is a sin, IT IS SIN.
