If it is a fear of yours, you probably have good reason for this one. Tickling is something than can get out of hand or can lead to other inappropriate actions from someone you might not want touching you. If you aren't comfortable with being tickled. Say no. Say it firmly. "I don't like being tickled. Please Stop." If they continue and it still bothers you, get away from the person and continue to use your voice..."I said NO, I don't like it!-I mean it, STOP!" You shouldn't have to put up with something as personal as being touched or tickled if it bothers you. I don't know how old you are, and age doesn't matter, no one should feel taken advantage of in any way. Tickling is one way where someone can take advantage of you, even if just "playing or goofing around". Don't feel guilty, there are other ways of being silly and having fun with friends! Just remember to respect your body and if something bothers you, say so.

I would say have a group of family, friends, strangers?? Arrange to tickle you till kinda like an extrema therapy. Or maybe in private get your significant other to do it more till you become comfortable. Once a night! Bite the bullet, it's the only way to get over any fear. I've never heard of anyone being tickled to death though. Does it tickle when you try it yourself? I think its just someone touching you and knowing that its about to happen not the tickling itself. My brother use to just act like he was going to poke me int the side, I mean just sticking his finger out he could be feet away and I would cringe. Then everybody use to think it was so funny they all started doing it. I really had a bad 10 yrs of that, I finally got mad at myself for being so paranoid and got over the phobia. Now it doesn't bother me near as much.

Well what is the worst thing that could happen if you were tickled?
...pee your pants? choke while you are laughing?...........
jerk too hard and pull a muscle?
It's kind of silly if you think about it.
Let someone tickle you and get over it???????
It's really not that bad.
