Neither, what came first was the creature they cross bred to get the chicken to lay the egg.

They came together. As with most restaurants, the waiter brings out all the food at the same time. The Egg Salad was actually the first thing on the table, and the Chicken Alfredo was actually the last, so I'd say the Egg Salad was technically first.

God created all animals therefore the chicken came first. Think about it if the egg had came first there would have been no parent chicken to raise the baby.

Obviously the chicken came first. Have you ever read the bible? God created man and then all the animals. The bible did not say he created eggs...it says ANIMALS. So, the chicken was first, then came the eggs and more chickens.

Had to be the egg. If you believe in evolution, then something that was ALMOST a chicken laid a mutated egg that BECAME a chicken. That's the only way I can explain it.

funny you should ask, but science has concluded that the egg came first. the chicken evolved from another bird. so the egg embryo itself was not a chicken at one point.
