My pail holds two gallons but has a hole in it. My bucket holds one gallon and is completely watertight. Whitch one should I take to the zoo?

That depends on where the hole is. I would take the two gallon because it does hold more water and if it's a bucket of course it has a hole in it, the entire top is open. : )

Either, by the time u get to the zoo u still got one gallon of water either way, cos the pail that has got a hole in it with two gallons of water would probably have leaked about a gallon of water all the way to the zoo.

the hole in the pail allows it to contain water. The watertight bucket couldn't hold any.
Take the pail.

Carry them both , pack your lunch in the 2 gallon one and fill the 1 gallon bucket with beer , you'll have a grand old time

Fill the pail, put it inside the bucket - that way you can carry both of your beloved items to the zoo and water will be plentiful.
