There is nothing wrong with interracial dating. Society puts such a prejudice on it, but if you are both mature enough to handle that some peole may not agree with it and you may get some crap over it, go for it. Just remember those people are small-minded and ignorant and ignore their comments or stares. Society is too nosy and into telling other people how they should live their lives when there are real issues that need to be addressed such as the poverty level or that people are having to pawn their belongings to afford gas to get to work. I'm happy you found someone you are happy with no matter what color!

it depends on where you live if people will thing it is wrong up north in a city its ok down in the south in the counry areas like kentucky its not its all a matter of opion that will change between everyperson and will be based on their experiences and their age cause old people had to deal with segragation and stuff like that. also it will be hard on the kids cause they will get made fun of i don't see anything wrong with it but i would never date a black girl cause i don't find them attactive at all but some do so it just depends on who you talk to

Nothing "makes it wrong" the society that we live in has put a color barrier on everything. From sports to jobs and in your case relationships. To find somebody that loves you, affirms, and takes you to higher heights in life is rare to find. But, if you find it then the color of the person should not matter, but the soul of that person should matter. It will be hard to explain this to your parents however there comes a point in every persons life where you have to decide, "What make me happy?" Good Luck!

Absolutely nothing. It's a free country, you can date a black man if you wanted to. But I think that your parents are scared that the man your seeing is like every other african american teen. Wearing baggy clothes, purple cars with hydrolics, and drugs.

There isn't anything wrong. I date outside my race also. I'm black female. You both have to feel comfortable and honest about your feelings, keep communications lines open!

No more wrong than for a brunette to date a redhead.I'd date a polka dotted guy if I loved him.
