Easily Bruce Lee. He invented his own style of martial arts. Jet Li is good but Bruce Lee is the best.

You have to ask that question, hands down Bruce Lee but Jet Li is very good at his Martial Arts as well.

Bruce Lee trained in all styles of martial arts and was also an amateur boxing champion when he was 14 or 15 in high school. Jet Li trained in classical Chinese kung fu and was awarded the highest prize in China's national competitions 5 years in a row before he retired when he was only 15!! In an interview Jet gave on the special features section of his "Cradle to the Grave" movie he was asked about some of the fighters who appear in that underground cage fight scene, who are actual fighters from the UFC Tournament and Jet said something like how those guys would beat him up in a real fight! So in a street fight it would be Bruce but in a kung fu tournament it would definitely be Jet!

Bruce Lee was amazing and accomplished many things for his era. If you look he really brought martial arts into the fore front with his exceptional ability. He was SO fast that they had to SLOW down his moves on camera so they could be seen. He was a wonderful choreographer with fight scenes and a great actor. He paved the way for actors like Jet Li and Jackie Chan to move into prominence. They are both great martial artists but I will always love Bruce Lee the most!

By far, Bruce Lee is the best. To my knowlege, Jet Li did not develop his own stlye of martial arts, unlike Bruce Lee, who developed Jeet Kwon Do.
