Go to Messaenger --> Preferences --> Connection, here click on "No Netwrok Connection" or "Firewall with no proxies" and try again.

umm..... ur id must b incorrect or there must be some problem or virus in ur messenger
download y messenger once again

You will have to make all the main Windows Updates, then it should work, except you changed something in the registry.

YOU HAVE TO GET THE NEW YAHOO.THE OLDER VERSIONS ARENT WORKING RIGHT ANYMORE.TRUST ME YOULL LEARN TO LOVE IT.IF ITS THE NEWEST VERSION YOU HAVE SIMPLY UNINSTALL IT THROUGH THE CONTROL PANEL THEN REINSTALL IT.
