get a flat iron but make sure its ceramic.. Solia is the best one that I have found... (blue ceramic) This works so good but you have to blow dry hair straight first.

Or you could get braids...those are always hot in the summer!!

well well seems like this was me when i was younger, but by the time my hair starts falling out, not alot though, but the best thing that i have done is like you did thin it out often and my best friend now is the hair straightener brand the "chi" i love that straightenter it may be a lil pricey but its worth every penny of it, when you use it do your hair by pieces and big chunks, it will come out really thin when you have finished you can either leave it like that or with the same straightener the "chi" you can curl it out or in and it will look very cute and espiecially if you have it in layers, well this was my resolution to my problem of big hair, hope it helps, good luck :)

Get yourself a good flat iron. Works for me and I have the same frizzy, "big" hair type as you. Best of luck to ya'!

Go for Straightening...
That will make your hairs somewhat thin...
Note : Straightening is done using chemicals, chemicals are always hazardous...
