My married friends want to set me up with a guy who is 29 with grey hair. I am 21 and still in college. I've always been attracted to older guys but should I be willing to meet this guy? I've always steered away from letting my friends set me up because I could feel obligated to not screw up. It is a guy friend that brought the prospective guy to my attention if that makes any difference... I think I'm just nervous b/c it's been so long since I've dated anyone.

Well just date him u know u don't have to marry him u have to try something new u know. it'll be fine you'll go out with him and there if u like it u go out again if u don't just tell the guy u want to be friends.

When I was your age, I went out with a guy who was 17 years older than I! I grew from it, because he had a whole lot more life experience than I did. At your age, even 8 years is a bit of a difference as far as where you are in your lives, but not so much that you couldn't have fun with this guy. If you decide to follow through, you might want to look at it this as a fun experience and not something that could be potentially serious, as long you both understand the rules from the start.

I think you should try a date with this guy. The guy is not that old for you! It all depends on your state of mind and his. The only way to tell where his mind is right now is by taking chance and going on a date with him.

if your comfortable with the situation then of course. If you trust your guy friend who set you up then try to find out a little more about him before the date so you can make up your mind to go or not.
