Hire a tutor. Especially one who can speak english and an asian language because they'll understand moreso how to help you pronounce words. But make sure English is one of their primary/native languages. Even better if they can speak your native language as well so they can help you understand what certain words mean.

You could find an ESL tutor to come to your home. Ask around at work - somebody has probably seen an advertisement for an ESL tutor or knows somebody who has a tutor.

One of the best ways is watching television in English, too. Watch the news, talk shows (Oprah, Dr. Phil, David Letterman, etc.), or any other show in English that you like.

Also, get the newspaper in English. Read as much as you can. Each day, choose ten words you find in the paper. Look them up in a dictionary (ex: Korean - English dictionary). Try to use those ten words in a sentence each day.

You can also practice by chatting online if you don't know many people who speak English where you live.

Go to an "American" store where you have to speak English. (Don't always go to the Asian Market!)

One other idea is to go to your local library. Many libraries in cities with immigrant populations will have free ESL classes or conversation groups.

Good luck!!!!

Well if you really want to learn English you need to be around the language. Make yourself go out and meet new people, or ask your co-workers to speak English around you if possible.

If you have a microphone for your computer go into some chat rooms and talk to the people in the room. You may even find someone who would like to help you practice your english.

watch english and american T.v. and once you have a few basics jump on a plane to an english speaking country such as Australia an immerse yourself in the culture. This worked for a frenchman I knew.
