Very simple. Eat healthy, and committ yourself to a routine 4-5 days a week of running, push-ups, and situps. There are many varietes of both push-ups and sit ups that you can research online. Push-ups will not only work your chest and arms, but they will work your abbs too.
Dedicate yourself to a regime and utilize some mental toughness to keep yourself going on days when you are sore and don't feel like it. You will see results quickly within a month if you stick to it.

I have the same goal myself, so good for you! From what I've read, the key to a better body is eating better, exercise regularly with cardio and strength training. The cardio will help trim your body overall, and the strength training will help you zone in on specific areas. There are lots of websites you can visit that will help you come up with diet and exercise plans that will help you be in better shape. Don't get stuck doing 500 sit-ups a day, because that won't help. Make sure your diet includes lots of fiber, it will fill you up, and make you healthier. Good luck, hope everything works out well for you!

Do major cardio. Drink nothing but organic juices (no concentrate or proccessed) and water. Eat healthy and move whenever you get a chance. You have to have a fit mind to have a fit body. If you really want this, than you will have it if you set your mind on it.

why concentrate on just ab muscles? exercise, exercise, exercise and everything will fall on the right places. do cardio, do ab exercises like crunches, jacknives, rotations, and knee raises. most of all watch what goes inside your mouth (no exceptions). remember: 90% diet, 10% exercise.
