I have a MICRO PC (IBM CLONE) and OS is WINDOWS 2000 SERVER. I have no sound.?

I recently replaced my harddrive and used the RECOVERY DISK's that come with the PC.

possibly the sound card was added after the original restore was made, or the card was changed, YOu will have to find out which one you have and download drivers for it

Win2000 is old and overall performance clever, win xp is greater useful. Theres lot greater you're able to desire to with win xp, at the same time with networking and so on. Win 2000 isn't trouble-free to troubleshoot and has lesser functionalities.
