About a year ago I finally got a chance to go out with this guy I have liked for a long time. We were together for only a little while but he was great. I even brought him into my house with my two children which is something I don't usually do. Both of them fell for him also. Well one day he just stopped talking to me and when I try tot alk to him he says he has some things he has to work on and he will get back with me. I'm afraid that he might not know how much I care about him. Should I tell him or should I just say forget it and try to move on? I really just want some answers as to what happened but feel by asking him he might think I was pushing him.

I've loved a man for thirty years and never told him, I've just been the good friend. It's very hard for me. He knows now because I'm older and wiser, but I still don't have the nerves to ask him how he feels about me...

My point is, it's better to get it out in the open now, and accept whatever he says. If it's not favorable at least you won't spend your LIFE wondering where you stand with him. Ask the tough question and deal with it!!!

You can occasionally (once every couple of weeks) give him a call just to say hi & that you were thinking of him, but don't ask him out. It's still up to him. He can call & ask you out if he really is interested. Hopefully, your "desperation" vibe wasn't broadcasting; that'll scare a guy away faster than anything else. Keep interactions with him light & casual; in this instance, don't lay your feelings on him--it's not the time.

Just follow your heart. If your not afraid of rejection ask him what is it that he likes about you. Be brief and don't rush him or else you'll scare him. Try to find the right moment and place to tell him what you feel. Set up a date and go out to a place where you will feel comfortable and not nervous.
