It drives me nuts too! I think that it just goes to show you that people are lazy. And some of them are actually just that uneducated and don't take the time to put any effort into what they are doing. When people have those questions that are so mis-spelled and convoluted I wonder, "Does that person have any self esteem or respect for themselves at all?" The carelessness shows the attitude that they just do not give a damn what anyone thinks of them, they don't care anything about themselves and they put it out there for the world to take notice. The world being Yahoo Answers. Its that or they are just truly that uneducated. Its so sad.

I always use spell check after I have typed an answer, but that's just me. If a person has lots of spelling mistakes, I would not take that as a sign that they are less intelligent than me, probably from a country where English is not a primary language.

Because we are in way too much of a hurry to check their spelling.
Also when you do a spell check sometimes , it doesn't know the difference between two, too and to.
Like a lot of things in life , it isn't perfect.
PS I did a spell check on this also(too)

They were either too lazy to learn or if they know how to spell they are too lazy to take the time to write correctly. Sometimes though, it's just a typo.

it's possible that they're typing too fast, they're actually dyslexic or something else is going on. i don't judge people based off of spelling. it's kind of a small issue. some people even shorten words for the sake of making it easier. personally, i don't do this often, but i do know why people do. have some patience. :) God bless you and have a wonderful day! :)

Because people are too lazy to move their fingers to the backspace button or click on spell checker.

Our atrocious school system, coupled with our societal laziness. Besides, most people are novices at best when it comes to computers and grammar, and if you don't know computers, chances are you can't fix your mistakes. Besides, a computer doesn't know the grammatical difference between "there," "their," and "they're" so they can't always be to blame.

Some are too ignorant to know they misspelled. Others are just in a rush to do something else.
