I want to be able to watch TV at my in-laws cottage over the weekend. They have Dish network and a satellite dish at the cottage already but they have not brought up their second box. Also, if it IS possible, would I still get the channels I subscribe to like HBO?

Yes you will still get all of your channels, that information is in your access card. Just be sure you've got it in right. Double-check to make sure their dish has a 2nd LNB to hook the reciever up to.

Good luck!

As long as the card in your reciever is still activated you should be able to get all your channels.

I wouldn't know but if Dish has acess cards thats all you need. If not you need to contact your service provider and ask.
