Depends on the reason I guess. I will report if (as happened recently) a guy was linking to a virus on a web page or if someone is advocating child abuse.

Folks who report because they feel insulted, real or imagined, due to a difference of opinion (particularly religious) need to allow other folks to have a contra position.

I see stupid, puerile, and lightly offensive material all the time on here ... in 99% of the cases I just tune out the bad karma and move on - I do, however, think that as Yahoo does little to moderate the board the report function IS useful.

I personally think if you report clearly maliciously then that should earn you a sanction.

I clicked several times, and I am not a wacko. There are people around here that have no common sense whatsoever. They think they're funny. They need to be toned down. If you can't say something useful just don't say anything.

no people who hit the report abuse button do so for a reason, I did after reading your other question about sniffing older peoples underwear, it's not normal, and is even less to advertise the fact,

I would happily report anyone else, who I think is as sick as you!!!!

No - they probably are just attempting to limit the amount of offensive content, abusive comments and stupid questions that are posted simply for the sake of aquiring points.
