Well, why the hell do you want to get rid of them?!!!
Are they so annoying?Don't worry too much though, just move onto another question fast so that you don't see the two evil words longer!

Anytime anyone answers a question, edit and delete appear at the bottom of the answer so that the user can update, change or remove their answer. There is no way to get rid of it.

It has to be there it means that if you want to edit your question you can click on edit and the same if you want to delete a question.

You can't get rid of them, it's just how it works!

This is the first time Ive seen a case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder that is so bad you feel the need to tidy up the websites you're surfing!!!

You can't get rid of them - they're there so you can, uhm, edit or delete your answer.

others don't see them - you are the only one who can delete or edit your question!

You see that little cross at the top right of your screen? Click on that

it goes once you click off the question. it just gives you one last chance to change your answer.
