Citrucel capsules. They are the only fiber supplement that I've found that isn't a nasty gritty drink that makes you so gassy you're embarrassed to leave the house. It worked great for me when I was on a high protein/low carb deal. I'd start at 2 pills a day minimum, and then work up from there. You can safely take 6-8 a day or more. Just read the instructions on the package and ask your pharmacist. Pharmacists are cool, they know a lot, and never make you feel embarrassed.
Plus, eat as many veggies as the plan will allow, that's even better than fiber supplements.
Good luck and live healthy!

Don't do the Aktins diet. Learn the difference between good and 'bad' carbs. And begin and exericse routine, IMMEDIATELY, if not sooner. 3 days a week, 45 minutes a day, increasing your heart rate for atleast 20 minutes. Amount of heart rate is related to your current fitness level, and or ask your doctor for an exam to determine.
Also use common sense, take diet and exercise advice from people who are in shape. If they are fat and nasty, guess what they dont know what the h#ll they are talking about.
Finally, its work to change you figure / body; be prepared to WORK to make that change. If your not you will never see lasting changes.

Eat a side salad with each meal. The carbs in lettuce are so low they're negligible and will not adversely affect your progress on the diet.
Also watch out for leg cramps on this diet. Your potassium intake will plummet on the Atkins regimen, causing charly horses and leg cramps. A potassium supplement will help with that. You might want to get vitamin C supplements as well. Good luck.

Research the diet first. atkinsexposed.org is a good site. Loosing weight is hard but there are better diet plans. Eat a bowl of oatmeal every other day.

Try the powdered fiber products (the kind that you can add to anything and it has no taste, etc.) Also, be sure to take a multi-vitamin everyday to ensure that your body is keeping up with its nutrients

Get off that diet. It's hard on your kidneys and cholesterol. Loosing weight is simple, burn more than you consume. Problem is, people don't wanna do the work - exercise.
