They are for most an expression of great love, compassion and kindness to the preson receiving them. A source of pride for the person giving them, because this person must be very thoughtful or this act of sweetness would not have taken place. There is an expression (Give me my flowers, while I yet live! because the day will come when I can no longer look at the beauty and smell their sweet aroma) The beauty and essence of this act is great for the giver and the receiver. A true blessiing with wonderful strength of personality and attitude. Therefore it is important because love is like a flower returning in it's beauty and sharing it's love on a constant basis.

Flowers are an expression of affection. When someone sends you flowers - it says to them "Hey I'm thinking about you and you are important to me"
Flowers are also a beautiful thing to have. They brighten a room and many of them smell nice.
Also, when you get flowers in a public place (like a work) it shows everyone around you that someone thinks you are special. Let's face it, girls sometimes like to show off the great men in their lives!
My parents sent me flowers on the day I had Lasik surgery with a note "Now that you can see, here's something pretty to look at." Talk about a great way for them to tell me they love me!
My husband gave me flowers once when we were dating. It was great to receive beautiful roses from this incredible guy I was falling in love with. I still have one of them, dried and in a vase in our living room.
I don't get flowers very often, so when I do they are very special because someone took the time and spent the money to do something special just for me.
I send flowers often. I live very far from my family so when someone is in the hospital or is having a special occasion it is an easy thing to order online to have delivered to their home (or hospital room), they send the message that I wish I could be there, and flowers are far more likely to make someone smile than they would make someone frown.

For most women, It isn't so much the flowers; it is more about the gesture of giving them something beautiful. Getting flowers means someone cared enough or loves you enough to give you something.
Of course, though, some women are gold-digging ho-s who will take and take and take and only want to be showered with money and gifts...in which case flowers won't do much for you.

It is not really the flowers themselves that are important. It is the thought of giving a gift for showing your affection to her. You could make her something by hand and it be just as special. You could do a simple thing as rub her shoulders when she had a bad day at work or taking her to her favorite restauraunt even though you hate the food there. stuff like that.

Well, it's not really importent for us but usally, we love flowers....like roses. Other men usally give roses to women right? That's to show how they care about women. Women...like us also likes nature. We like flower the most, of course.

flowers aren't very important 2 me, but when a guy does give me flowers it feels like they r willing 2 do anything for me, and when the flowers r in my house when i look at them i remember how much i love the guy.

Because giving flowers shows your woman that at some point during the day, you were thinking about her, and wanted to do something nice for her. It's just one of those unexpected, really sweet things that keeps a girl floating for days.

Because other women get them from their men. and women love to compete with other women. Do you think any woman has ever got flowers and not told her friends. It shows our girlfriends, look how great my man is!
