consult with your eye specialist

I had a similar problem. My eyes were tearing for no obvious reason. It turns out I had dry eyes (which seems like a contradiction considering my eyes were watering. HA!).

If you spend a long time looking at a computer you might not be blinking like you should which would make the problem worse.

I've had great results using artificial tears. My doctor told me to use the ones that come in individual vials instead of in a bottle and to make sure they are preservative free. Put them in every hour or every other hour and it should prevent the problem.

It could be many different things: eye strain from sitting at the computer too long, perhaps you are allergic to something in your work environment, etc. When sitting at the computer for extended periods of time I find it useful to close my eyes hard and roll my eyes around to moisten them and give them a break.

You are having an allergic reaction.
Get some benadryl NON-DROWSY or
if you don't mind a prescription,
Flonase is my best friend. I suffered
from allergies since I was in high school
but I never knew until it got so bad that
I coughed up ... well, I'll skip it. That is gross.
But ALLERGIES are definetly the culprit.
Is it dusty there? and dry? most likely it is.
Peace!

In my opinion, eyes can get irritated like this because of smoke or perhaps spending many hours working on a computer. Check out your working conditions in there.

Do you have any other symptoms? If not, it may be the flourescent lighting. many people are sensitive to it. I am. Ask your boss if it is possible to get a natural light placed in the over head light. It might help.

you might have allergy. get a proper checkup. it can also be there because of continuous sitting in front of a computer, or being busy in files taking loads of tension . forget it and first take care

It is an allergic reaction most likely, maybe to the carpeting. Do you have new carpets, or maybe a new chair?
