Beth is close about an African People. The Meroe people of Sudan a form of hieroglyphic writing. But the problem seems to stem from the misdirection of the question, Pictographic is the general term that includes hieroglyphics. To use a symbol(drawing of a picture) to demonstrate a meaning or word.
Under this context, Chinese is also acceptable.

If you mean Hieroglyphics of Ancient Egyptian it is, some words are incorportaed with Arabic of Egypt.

Chinese is one of the oldest language which still exist.hope this helps

I think you're referring to one of the African language groups. Its speakers do not actually write the language, but they can draw a series of pictures a bit like a kid's comic strip.
