Just my belief and from what I have read in the Bible; John 3:16 Christ was Baptised and we are following his lead. But being Baptised or Chistened will not save you; believing in GOD and Christ and doing HIS will is what will save you; and the white linen in which you wear in heaven is made from the good works you do while you are here... IF you both believe that Christ died for our sins and was the Son of GOD that is what saves your immortal soul and puts in our Fathers' good graces. Children are innocent and therefore go directly to the father as they have no sin. It is just when we get older and know right from wrong is when we need to repent for our short-comings.
I hope that helped...

Don't worry about yourself, worry about your daughter. Christening has no spiritual significance although a prayer offered during the ceremony does. The problem with young people going through ceremonies like that is that if they are not instructed in the gospel message they can get a false sense of security and never come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior in truth.
Be a wise mother and let your daughter know that a person has to be born again in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Being christened is the outward sign of what has taken place inside. Do you know you needed a saviour? Is Jesus the Christ the one who is that saviour for you? Have you repented of anything you may have done wrong and TRUST (that is what real faith is) that you are reconciled with God through the sacrifice of Jesus (the death, bureal and resurrection)? If you can answer yes to these questions you are already a resident of heaven and will go there to live with God when you leave this earth (or die as some say).

Er thats all fairy story stuff... Nothing changes what happens when you die. Yoiu mind shuts down without oxygen and blood switching off the elsetrical impulses and you turn to meat and spare parts, either eaten or rotting into compost... thats it. So yes you do end up togther unless you believe is kids stories like heaven or how about Vahalla. Just both die with a sword in hand.

Don't be worried. If you believe in Jesus and repent of your sins in Jesus' name you will be saved. You should be Baptized just like Jesus did.
All souls go back to the Father that gave it. We all came from Heave and when we die, here on Earth, we all go back to Heaven to wait for judgment.
2 Corinthians 5:5-10. Keep an eye out for verse 8.
Luke 13. Read the entire chapter.
I hope this helps you.

If you are talking about about going to heaven, I am sorry to say to you that a little bit of water has NEVER ever saved anybody. It is a lie of the Roman Catholic Church. The only way to be saved is to confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord nd Savior and put your trust in Him and no one or anything else. Baptism or christening is NOT enough to save your soul. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward experience. It is a public sign to say that I want to identified with Jesus Christ in His death and resurrection. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior there is no hope for you because baptism will NOT save your soul.

Christening is not what sends you to Heaven or Hell....its salvation...You must confess with your mouth that Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that HE died for your sins...That is how you will know if you will both be together in the end...if you are both saved and washed by the blood of Christ....
Be Blessed

Being christened has no effect.
We are commanded to repent (turn away from our sin), be baptized (immersed in water) and to be filled with the Holy Ghost (be lead and strengthened by Gods spirit).

no it isnt at all like that you dont have two diffrent types of baptism or anything it is just a prepresentation that you as a adult are going to take care of her and that she is in the safety of god and until she gets to the age of accountability and making the right decisions. then she will have to reaffirm herself to god but if you both die as long as you are right with god you will both go to heaven because even if she doesnt go through with it she would still go to heaven because she is a child still.

God looks at what is in your heart, not whether or not you got wet.
If you are still concerned, it is not too late for you to be "christened" or "baptized", or whatever your particular denomination calls it.
