YOU gotta be happy FIRST. People tend to take advantage of others if they know they can. I'm kinda the same as you...always wanting to keep people happy, but I've also learned that my happiness counts too. If you want to do somthing for someone, do, if you don't....then don't! You have to put yourself first, and then, and only then, will you find true happiness.

Do it for yourself. Don't feel selfish either. You need to be happy too. I know what you mean about busting your *** and getting nothing back. It's pointless, so don't do it! Go for what YOU want. It seems like it would be the most rewarding.
