since august is the 8th month of the year.. do something with 8 in it..
maybe find a restaurant that serves octopus (8 legs) or squid
go out at 8:00 that night or if you have to work late go at 8:00 that morning.
or do a scavanger hunt that has eight things for it and the last one will take you to the restaurant by 8:00 and ask the hostess to set you at the 8 table..
this all might be corny, but that is what i can think of!!

I say tell him that it is his day and ask him what he wants to do. All the things that you need worry about is the dinner. I would make a homemade mea land put candles on the table. For your birthday the same thing. For the night give him a piece of your body.You know what I mean!

If you know alot about each other it would be easier, why not take him on a picnic (just the two of you) and talk to him about all your hopes and dreams. Let him into your life and share something special with him. You never know, he maybe feelling the same way you are about the whole thing. Good Luck

happy birthday and congratulations my bday is the 25 of Aug.......make the whole month a celebrations do something small everyday and as it leads to his birthday then the finale a candlelit dinner ,roses in the bed,sexy lingerie just have fun with it ...us Virgos have a freaky side...

Hire a chopper pilot, have him take ya'll chopper bungee jumping, then land, get in 2 cars, speed them off the top of a huge building, pull out the chutes, base jump to the ground where you'll each fight off a gang or alligators and bears, then ride motorcycles back to your place for dinner.
THATS pretty special.
