So I am at the stage when I still feel the heavy burden of Christmas meals. Yes, in the mid of June... I know it's awful. I was out with my friends this other night and felt old, tired and overweight, not atractive at all. I've looked gorgeous, I watched last summer's photos one day and fell for myself, but It's all hidden under a layer of some soft, white substance (read-fat). So this is the third day when I:
1) Eat wholegrain cereal with low fat milk in breakfast, rice or boiled potatoes with fish or chicken for lkunch and cherries, melon or other fruit in dinner
2) I walk the long distance from work to home
3) drink around 8 big cups of green tea per day
4) around 2 l water every day
5) do resistance exercises at home like dumbbells and sit ups, as well as some yoga
6) cover myself with a lotion that says to rise elasticity of the skin...
SHALL I BE SAVED AND ADORED BY MEN AGAIN?

Sounds good except:
cut out the potatoes and eat brown rice instead
cut down on the green tea and add a little more water to your daily amount
make sure that when you walk you are getting your heart rate up, otherwise do some other form of cardio daily

Some good advice in the other answers. Definitely cut down your green tea, potato, fruit intake.

You don't need to drink that much green tea/day, for it to be effective. May 2 1/2, 3 L of water/day/ Maybe increase your meats/proteins a little, scale back the fruit at night. Your exercise regimen seems to be ok, but remember that you must constantly shock your system for optimal results. If you do the same routine day in and day out, your body will adjust to it and will not react in the same manner as it would to new stimulus (exercise). Try putting some form of cardio in with your resistance exercises.

first off, cut out the potato's, their just as bad for dieting as white bread. Make sure your green tea isn't caffinated, it takes more water to digest caffeine then what is actually in the drink. Is it possible for you to bike to work or even jog? I know your walking and thats a great start but if you could get a more intense exercise into your day i think you would benefit a lot. Even if its just a spinning class or a dance class. You don't need to do your yoga and weights every day, allow days for your muscles to rest. Even though you are toning your muscles you need to do cardio (jogging) to work off the fat, otherwise the fat will just sit on top of your gorgeous muscles. Good Luck.

If you're going to eat fruit, eat it in the morning, and by itself--not in combination with any other food. Then maybe do the cereal mid morning, or for lunch, and the protein for dinner. Actually, for dinner you should just have protein and vegetables. Your biggest meal should be lunch.
