I would tip a pizza hut worker 5 dollars and a rest area worker 7 dollars since they do an excellent job with what they do. Also, in addition, give both of them some petroleum jelly and peanut butter and raspberry sandwiches.

We always just add $5. If it is an $18 pizza or $40 of Chinese the tip is always just $5. Nice round number, easy to add, and keeps the delivery folk happy and fast!!!

honestly i used to be a delivery guy and let me tell you its worth it to tip a few extra dollars if you know what i mean....they have your name and num in computer and will add comments if your a cheap ***...now i always tip AT LEAST 25 % . They will bring your food faster and not f uck with it if you are a repeat customer.
some guy was a smart *** and gave me a 20 on a 19.94 dollar order and said "keep the change" and he had the nerve to make another order the next day...big mistake

Yes, since many delivery drivers are not compensated for their gas consumption.
It also pays to tip well because drivers do remember their customers, and better tipping customers get some under the table perks.

i always tip 15% regardless. whether it's a delivery, a haircut, or at a restaurant. i think delivery drivers factor in gas to the order charge.

just give him or her a dollar - the place you ordered from has probably already factored in a dollar.
