Believe it or not it is harder on the mother than it is on the child.
I think it is something that parents get used to. It never gets easy but it does get easier. It also depends on the reason for leaving. If it is to have a night out alone that is more difficult. But even mommies deserve nights out for fun!!!

that would depend on why the mother is leaving her child (where she is going). if she's leaving her child as a necessity, such as going to work to support the family, then it makes it a little easier to leave. if she's leaving to go out to dinner or to a movie with friends, then it's more difficult to leave because it's not a total necessity. there is alot of guilt when leaving a child for any reason, and the younger the child is the more guilt the mother feels. it's like leaving a part of yourself whenever you leave your child somewhere.

it is very hard because and mother and her child has a connection that no one else has, however the mother has to teach this child to adapt to these and other similar situations, cause if she doesn't this child will end up being spoilt or probably find it rather hard to socialise!

It can be heart-wrenching. A lot of the time, a mother feels as if she's walking away from a need that only she can fill......this is especially hard the younger they are.

It is very hard to leave a crying child, it's heartbreaking but you gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes.

its hard it makes you feel really bad inside, and it makes you not want to leave them! but, as long as you really trust the person who you are leaving your child with, and you don't have any gut feelings leaving them there, they will stop crying.

It tears you up on the inside, as you are conflicted with being there for your child, but having to go to your job to also be able to provide for them.

It was NEVER hard for me. I had to work or I had to go to do whatever. As long as you leave your little one in trustful hands it should give you peace of mind.
