There was a famous mathematician with the name Zorn. Zorn's Lemma has been shown to be equivalent to The Well Ordering Principal and the Axiom of Choice.

Regarding their lack of obviousness of their equivalence, I was once told that "The Axiom of Choice is obviously true, The Well Ordering Principle is obviously false, and Zorn's Lemma is incomprehensible." ANd when you read them, it certainly seems that way.

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp
has 264 hits. Here's one of them, an 1880 census listing:

Household:

(Name Relation Marital Status Gender Race Age Birthplace Occupation Father's Birthplace Mother's Birthplace)

Angelica BOELL Self Female W 54 GER. House Keeping GER. GER.
Celina ZORN Dau S Female W 24 CA At Home FRAN GER
Clementine ZORN Dau S Female W 20 CA At Home FRAN GER.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Source Information:
Census Place Shasta, Shasta, California

If I was guessing, I'd guess Mr. Zorn died, his wife remarried a Mr. Boell, and Mr. Boell died or was out of town when the census was taken.
