Your dad probably just wants you to study and get qualifications so you can get a better paid job at the end of it. You could always get a part-time job in the pizza place if you were at college or University?

I think your Dad would be the best person to answer this question. But being a parent myself I would like to see you focus more on your studies.
Also, I've heard that pizza delivery drivers have a very high accident rate because they are always trying to make it under a certain time. I'm not sure if that's 100% true but it makes sense.
anyway, this is a great opportunity to sit down with your Dad and have a nice conversation about life.

If you would like to have that job then talk with your dad and explain to him the reason you want to have a job. Your father thinks that you are not yet prepared to have that kind of job but if you will explain to him your reason of having that job then maybe he will permits you to get that job. Good luck!

Your studies are the door to your future, I think he might be thinking of your future success, and how important it is to have a good education - just relax take it easy.

Young people should work, when they do not attend school, in order to enter social life!
When going to school and should there be no financial need, better not to work!
Also, the finer the job (full time, or seasonal) the better it is and prepares you for higher aims!

Your dad knows better. Getting a job at your age has its implications. He is probably protecting you in his own fatherly way.

Why don't you ask your dad? How are we supposed to know what is going on in your dad's head? Talk to the man!
