I'm looking for something really special. Something that says I love you very much and I appreciate all that you do.

You can spend a weekend in a hotel, wear sexy lingerie, strip and dance for him: lap dance of course!

You can fulfil his fantasy and have a threesome with you and another woman!

Candlelight dinner for two at home if you could get someone to babysit. Prepare some exotic dishes that you would never do normally.

A picnic in the country.

Oh theyre so many things you can do girl!!

AW, come on, you know what turns guys on. Um - besides that, I mean. Buy him a skydiving lesson. No, better still, make sure anything you do in this regard, you do it with him - so buy two skydiving lessons!

Seriously, most guys will appreciate a "manly" thing far more than a hand-crochetted hanky or the like. The rare ones (like me) do appreicate how much goes into handicrafts like quilts, but you'll never overcome our testosterone - so go for something really appealing to that aspect of our nature.

If skydiving does not appeal, check with your local sporting goods store: most guys like fishing, and many of us would appreciate a top-of-the-line fishing reel and a half-dozen of the latest rage in lures.

Try a canoe trip along the St. Lawrence River here in the Northeast, or along the Snake River in Idaho. Park the kids with Granma for a week and make it a three-day event: you two camp out under the stars. Guided tours really can be both perfectly safe and wildly romantic.

Or a cruise along the Inside Passage: Alaska is enchanting this time of year. Or you can rent a motor home for that three-day weekend and tour the interior of Alaska. Ya won't believe the size of the veggies grown in the Matanuska Valley - makes Texas braggarts sound downright puny!

Too pricey? How's about a double-header at your nearest farm league baseball park followed by a night of REALLY messin' up the sheets in a nearby motel room? Jus' don't let him get too much into the "seventh-inning stretch" and get too tipsy to do more than a wrinkle in the pillow ;-)

Or get a bottle of his favorite wine or three of his favorite beer. Feed him his favorite dinner, and afterwards sit and cuddle whilst the two of you watch his fave t.v. programs, and slyly start undressing him towards the midnight hour. Um - exactly how that turns out is up to you - but it turns out a heck of a lot more interesting the less you're wearing at the start!

Yo! He don't appreciate any of that, come see me! I'll introduce you to my tall, handsome and fully employed and elegible son!

Well, you could either go out and get him something he likes, or take him somewhere that he likes to go to like a concert or show.. you could also give him the "day off" so to speak and tell him that the "day off" is the day that you will do whatever he wants to do. I'm kind of silly but I'd even send him flowers and a card.. LOL.. so basically, it's whatever he wants I guess.. good luck! The last suggestion would be to be in your birthday suit and wrapped up in a big red bow when he comes home from work..hmm...

surprise him by packing an overnight bag for both of you and head to a romantic cabin or beach house for the weekend. Make sure you have some flowers, candles, maybe some erotic toys, wine and good music. Sometimes you can pre-arrange these extras with the caretaker.

I'd love to help, but it's hard to answer that question without knowing something about his likes and dislikes. For my hubby I prepare a nice dinner and we dine by candlelight and soft music. And I dress provocatively. Then the rest of the evening is his. Whatever he desires. I don't make any of the rules, it's all up to him. So he's king for the day.

What does he like. Hobbies? I love to grill and I have been using the same broken down grill for years. My Wife suprised me with the best Char Broil grill we could afford on my birthday. Far more than I ever thought she would allow as far as funds go. I enevr saw it coming. Romantic stuff is great, but try to think from a mans perspective.

buy yourself 2 something's pretty... one being a dress, and the other being from victorias secret... take him out to dinner and tell him what you have on underneath

i promise, when you get home (if you don't have to get a hotel room first) he will be SUPER greatful! LOL

I did this to my husband for his birthday last year-- he said it was the best day ever.

The next day, I sent him fishing all day long, alone, without pestering him, and asking when he'd be home.

It was a really nice weekend!

If you don't have much money just prepare him a dinner and include some details like red roses and chocolate. Trow on the bed red rose petals and turn on some candles .
