You should've told him to have a good NIGHT.
Anyway, as long as you tipped him well, then he was probably happy.
I'll bet the pizza hut workers were EXTREMELY proud of you ordering from them! ;)

yes...to wish someone good day can never be bad thing. because itz ur genrousity that u can wish a good day for anyone either he is a pizza delivery boy. As a nice person u can think and wish nice things for any one from the society except anti-social elements like thieves, pick-pocketers, murderers etc.
as pizz worker doing this pizza delivery job for his bread & butter, so i think he should be proud of all good wishes receiveing from nice persons like you.

I doubt they were proud of you for ordering a pizza. Delivering pizza is their job, so,I'm sure if anything, they thought of it as a mundane task. I would have opted for the words "Have a good NIGHT"*touche*. It was a nice gesture, but redundant, of course. It's the tip that counts....

depending on the age of the delivery guy...he is just worry about getting his tip and moving on to the next guy. All fast food places try to pound it in their employees heads that it if was not for the customer (guest for a fancier word) they would not have a pay check. It is the same everywhere you go.

nope. the pizza hut guys found your ordering of a pizza from them interupted there fag break, and made them do something for the pitence that they earned

You tip a waiter/waitress when you eat out, you tip the person who cut your hair, you tip the massage therapist when you get a massage, AND you should ALWAYS tip the pizza delivery man.
