try to get multiple dogs and take them for a 2 mile stroll. Charge 5 dollars a day and make sure that you carry some water with you. Make fliers put them up and advertise. You could do certain areas on certain days that way your not running all over. make it 10 a day if you take the dog out 2 times, once in the mid morning once in the late afternoon. Make sure you say its great for a dog that needs exercise because it reduces high energy. And great for dogs who are overweight. Make sure you ask if the dog is current on vaccinations and also if they get along with other dogs. It might be better if you take smaller dogs all together and larger dogs all together.

My daughter walks dogs around the neighborhood and she charges about 8 to 10.00 a day. It actually depends on how long they want you to walk the dog and how big the dog is. She charges less for small dogs because sometimes she walks them and end up carrying them home. :)

I owned a dog walking service for four years and I charged $10 for a half an hour walk.

I did my research before I made my prices, and I was just about average with every other dog walking company around.
