First, I say study the history of Wicca. A lot of people decide to take it up, because they either want to be a witch or practice old world paganism. However, people don't realize that Wicca is pretty recently made up. I'm pagan, but not Wiccan, and I encourage you to search for you own truths. The underlying points of modern paganism is intention and living close to nature. Spells are merely ways to focus energy. Keep that in mind when studying.

Not sure exactly what you mean. If you are wanting to study it, then study it. Just realize that Wicca didn't even come about till the 1940's and a lot of it is merely a mix n match of different traditions from different cultures. And the word Wicca itself does not mean "witchcraft". *Sigh* I'm so tired of seeing people reply about things like this when all they are really doing is spreading propaganda and trying to look smart doing it.

Learn all you can about healing with Herbs and roots, birthing babies, arousing your man, bleeding onto Earth during moon cycles and most importantly, a book store on Wicca, Paganism , etc. Try the Silver Pentacle or the Witchcraft Store in Toronto. Ask for High Priestess Raven, or her assistants.

Becoming Wiccan involves much study and dedication. What do you know already? What makes you interested? If you want to know more, message me through me profile.

Wicca is not a new religion. Its a new name for an old religion, All There is no religion that is exactly the same as the first day someone practiced it. None. THere are different sects of the Old Religion. We are one of them. We are not evil. Don't listen to the ignorant Christians, They are just hateful and misguided.

Sorry this is justfor a lighter answer to your question. I know you are serious , you become a wicca by being dipped in hot wax and placed in a candle.
Again I'm sorry. I just had to smile alittle.

Don't do this. Wicca is another word for witchcraft and devil worship. There is no such thing as white magic or good magic. It is all the same---witchcraft. Practicing wicca will only lead to your damnation and eternal death in hell. Trust in in truth---Jesus Christ. He and only he can save your soul and your life. If you involve yourself in wicca you will be sexually and financially exploited.

Go to the library and book store and find books about it. Read them and begin practicing. Make it a part of your life for the rest of your life. Also educate yourself on the power of kindness, spreading joy, and humility.
If you are interested in finding others that do it and maybe find people to initiate you, you could check various web sites, search WitchVox.com, and/or Pagan Pride Day sites. You will have to train your mind and emotions, which can be a daily task, and it helps to develop a relationship with one or more gods or goddesses.

A Wiccan.

I can't remember everything about that because I never went through with it, but you would have to get some books and read about it. I do believe there was an incantation and 'ceremony' that you had to do.
