yes, the difficulty lies in recognizing the open door. It is also difficult to exit because fear keeps us from doing that. But keeping faith in the fact that the Universe has your best interest in mind and walking through the doors that open for you are the key. I think.

do you think this is really the case, or do you think it's the way we have to face things in order to keep moving? i hear the phrase, "it happened for a reason" a lot and i always am inclined to disagree. what if there is no absolute rhyme or reason to the world? what if things just happen, and we just respond as best we can?
there are opportunities all around us all the time. we're just more inclined to notice them when we're desperate or depressed or faced with a closing door.
