If you want results that last longer that a day,You can get a home perm,Follow the directions put the smelly stuff in your hair and the whole time it has to sit you comb it out straight. You just keep combing and combing.I did that and it worked great. You leave it on like the directions say you know how ever many min. It`s usually about 30 to 45 min.If you have really stubborn or hard to color hair then you need to leave it on 10 extra min.more that the box say`s.But be sure and read the directions on how long to leave it because where I come from they have fast set ones that work in about 20 min.Hope that helps.

if by straightener you mean a chemical straightener done by your stylist , then try a flat iron which works great and will stay sraight until you wash it again with minor touch ups after sleeping. My reccomendation: a CHI iron (depending on your area retails for $99 - $125) which gets hot fast and doesn't need to be ran through the hair as long as the cheap ones you can pick up at say wal-mart.

If you mean a flat iron, then your not going to get it completely straight unless you use the chemicals (which are damaging to your hair and need to be retouched every so often)

There really isn't any other way. Because if you do the perm than you have to straighten your hair regularly in order to keep it straight or it will just get all frizzy. Trust me... my friend thought it would stay straight if she didn't straighten it so she just let it go and it looks tacky! Don't do the beany idea unless you have really short hair. I guess it really depends on how curly (or how not curly) your hair is. If it's really curly like mine, your only option is to use a staightener, but if it's just wavy, than i'm sure you could just blow dry is straight.

If I didn't cover everything or you need specifics than please feel free to email me at cassilennard@yahoo.com

you can try getting it thinned and that should help making it a little straighter.. and you should always brush it straight after a shower..or blowdry it straight like the others have said..if you do use gel dont use alot or else your hair will get all hard..and thats not too good well i better be off so i can do my own hair! bye! have a great day!:)

First, tell your friend to pull your hair as strongly possible. Then go to a barber and be bald.
