What would you do if you can sleep at night because you neighbors don't appear to sleep and it doesn't stop till the sunrises? I dont want to turn up the tv so loud that my nice neighbors may hear it. Do bose headphones work? At 299$ is it worth it? It looks like sound proofing my ceiling would cost 500+ dollars (it'd be cheaper to replace their flooring, I'm so sure they have torn out the carpet and that's why the noise has gotten worse these past few months) Should I tell the landlord "look stop them or refund my deposit now so I can move OUT?!!!" This is damaging my health body ad mind so much. Mess with anything but my sleep I don't pay 1100$ a month to live like this. Cortisol is forever rising!

I would look in your lease to see if there is a clause about there being a "quiet time" during certain hours. If you know your neighbors, see if any one of them have complaints and/or have called the landlord. If it is say, 2AM, and you hear unreasonable noise, you could always call the police and report a public disturbance. But I wouldn't do that unless the landlord fails to act. You may just have to face the possibility that you might have to move to get away from it.

Yes, talk to the landlord. I'm sure when you signed a lease that there was a clause about making too much noise. If they are under the same landlord, they will have to abide by the same rules or THEY should have to move out, not you. Good luck.

As staindgarden said, you should tell the landlord, because this is your right!
