Go for LG, it has a very good range for these TV's

Get the best picture your eyes can see. Probably a Panasonic, Sony or Pioneer. Then get a sound system. The sound that comes out of any LCD TV through the built in speakers will not be loud enough for a bar.

I will not try to answer the question. I will say it would be a good idea to have a heavy plate glass installed in front of the screen if it is any place near where people get drunk. These screens are not cheap and and be damaged very easily.
