scientific studies claim that every hour of sleep before midnight counts double the number of hours that are being slept through past midnight. aside from the thorough rest you get by sleeping early, most of your cell repair, digestion, detoxification and growth gets done before and around midnight, or follow a certain sequence that depends on the time of your sleep.

Well, it really depends on when you're waking up (lets say for school). It's better to go to sleep earlier than midnight. You know that old saying..."Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise" (close enough?)

Certainly not (I sleep from 3am-11am).

Seriously, it depends when you're obligated to get up. I freelance and that seems to be my natural schedule.

The best sleep you get is about an hours after you fall asleep, that when you get REM, and later a deeper sleep when your body does most of its healing.

couldn't tell yea. If I don't have any sleeping pills I'll not hit the four hour mark. So any sleep is better to me.

I imagine as long as you get all the required amount of sleep that you need, it would make no difference when you slept!
