Any human mind can imagine that a perfect being exists, even if they do not understand it. Because they conceive it in their mind, then it must be real, at least in their mind.
Since, it is real in their mind then it must be real in reality because if it was not, then you would not have conceived a perfect being. Surely a being that exists in reality and the mind is greater than one that only exists in the mind, so it must be that being which exists in both that the person was originally thinking about, because if a being has something that is greater than itself, then it is not perfect. So, as long as you can imagine a perfect God, logically He must exist.

Yes true, but let me ask you a question... does anyone know how Aspirin works? No, but it works so who cares. I'm saying that if the concept of god helps certain people bare the absurdity of life, then there is nothing wrong with that. As long as they don't use the god pill to do holy wars it's perfectly fine. Some people can't get through without work, for others it's music, art, etc., and some have to have god. But the concept of god has always been evolving so it's good to help people move on (for their own good, like teaching people to use computers so they don't get left behind).

Umm, so it's okay to be ignorant and recognize your ignorance, and continue to defend a religion that is based on ignorance? I know how aspirin works. I do not know there is a God, or supreme being, divine intelligence, whatever you want to call it. There is no proof for any religious theory. But there IS proof that aspirin thins your blood enough to relieve some forms of pain. I don't understand the Christian logic that if you do not know the answer, looking for it will only cause trouble. Just stick with what you know? Seriously? No wonder much of the religion makes absolutely no sense to me.

Nope.
Try to experience the Holy Spirit first and you'll understand.
Go to a good Charismatic Church to find out more.

Is this a serious question? You mean you've never thought that something somewhere was higher than you? Don't go bashing a religion just because you don't follow it; it just enforces your own insecurities about your own self. Sad really
